Windows Plesk 8.6 webmail missing

After migrating a full backup from one Plesk node to another Plesk node and restored on a fresh 8.6 installation horde webmail wasn’t working.
Going to Domains > testdomain.com > Mail > Preferences
WebMail was listed as “None” and couldn’t update it.

Plesk 9.x for Windows Fatal error: Call to undefined function of_get_key_by_product() in C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\plib\common_func.php3 on line 4501

A clients disk filled up and Plesk was starting but going to the login page prompted:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function of_get_key_by_product() in C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\plib\common_func.php3 on line 4501
Going to “C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\repository” the registry.xml file was 0 bytes in size.  Renamed this to registry.xml.old and restarted Plesk.

Upgrading Windows Plesk 8.1.1 to 8.6

Upgrading from Windows Parallels Plesk 8.1.1 to 8.6 went smoothly according to the installer, however, after the upgrade completed and machine rebooted the Plesk control panel no longer loaded.
It would often return an error to the browser, but, also occasionally would say:
get_config_string failed: PRODUCT_DATA_D: The system cannot find the file specified. (Error code 2) at [...]

Plesk 8.6 Windows statistics.exe error

 Upgraded Windows Plesk 8.2 to 8.6 due to the statistics.exe processusing 100% CPU for > 12 hours causing the machine it become unresponsive.  The upgrade to Plesk 8.6 went surprisingly well and didn’t fatally break the system.
Two things did happen though:
1/ It reset permissions on custom installed components such as jMail etc.
